Russia in talks over $6 bln joint projects with Sudan

Russia and Sudan are in talks to jointly develop 25 projects with total investments of U.S. $6 billion, the Natural Resources Ministry said in a statement.

The countries will cooperate in the construction and repairs of railroads and power systems of Sudan and in the upgrade of its airports, as well as in mining projects.

Gazprom, Russian Railways, Rusgeology, Zarubezhgeologiya, Inter RAO UES and RusHydro have said that they are interested in projects in Sudan.
